The Data Management Center
ErbisOne is the powerful platform that transforms data from your buildings into reliable information that helps organizations take the right steps for a successful energy transition. Many well-known organizations from retail, education, healthcare, government and industry, among others, have been working with this platform for a long time.
Monitoring as the main component of your energy policy
Successfully completing the energy transition requires a structural policy on energy and sustainability. The extent of this success depends to a large extent on the quality of the information that is available. A policy that is not based on facts and figures is a policy without a goal, cannot be evaluated and will not produce the desired result. It is therefore essential to gain and maintain insight into all energy flows of your organization. Energy monitoring is therefore a common thread running through a successful energy policy.
The importance of reliable data
An important feature of the energy monitoring platform ErbisOne is that it can extract an infinite amount of data from all possible data sources, this was highlighted in the previous blog! ErbisOne: The Platform for all energy data, you can read all about the many possibilities. In ErbisOne, the data is then processed into valuable information, which you can use to shape, monitor and adjust your energy policy. Ensuring that this data is correctly translated into reliable information is essential for the result. Missing or incorrect data leads to unreliable information and is therefore not a good basis for a responsible energy policy. To prevent this, ErbisOne's Data Management Center focuses on optimal data quality assurance.
The Data Management Center
In the Data Management Center, all data that comes into ErbisOne is constantly monitored. A team of data specialists check and validate the incoming data flows. In addition to the knowledge and experience of our specialists, smart techniques and algorithms are used here. In addition to ensuring data quality, the Data Management Center also monitors the standards of your consumption. The bandwidths over consumption, generation, base load, etc., which have been determined together with the customer, are constantly monitored here. If a standard is exceeded, you as a customer will be informed.

Data validation & control
Every second, more than 750 readings are processed in ErbisOne. All this data is (semi-)automatically checked for completeness, checking whether all data is actually received. If it turns out that data is not coming in, our data specialists will do everything they can to remedy this. In addition, 'gaps' in the data are (temporarily) filled by means of data interpolation, in order to minimize the impact on your reports.
Incoming data is checked and validated in several ways. This is how it is determined whether the incoming data is reliable. Among other things, things such as 0-consumption and exceedances of standards are examined.
Monitoring & alarms; also of your solar panels
By default, ErbisOne offers full control and validation over all incoming data. The focus is on finding and solving problems with your data. You may not only want to monitor the completeness and reliability of your data, but also monitor the consumption or generation of your solar panels. This is also possible in ErbisOne. In addition to the regular validation rules, additional standards and limit values can also be set. These are monitored by ErbisOne and if deviations occur, you will be alerted.
Your data quality at a glance
In the ErbisOne portal, you will be constantly informed of the state of affairs regarding your data quality. In the clear dashboard, you can see at a glance how many variables contain errors and which errors have been identified. The dashboard then gives you the opportunity to zoom in on the identified errors and deviations. Below is an example of a data validation dashboard in the ErbisOne portal.

The Monitoring Assistant
Although ensuring data quality is important, we understand that you, as a ErbisOne user, logically want to focus mainly on monitoring your energy flows. For this reason, the Data Management Center takes care of the controlling, validating and monitoring of your data as much as possible.
To take this a step further, it is also possible to use our team of energy and data specialists to follow up on data issues. They then take on this final step in data management and follow up on missing and deviating data by investigating this further and setting out the right follow-up actions. Think of contacting the data supplier, looking into your BMS or alerting your responsible employees to taking the meter readings. Targeted profile analyses can also be carried out. This way, you are completely unburdened as far as data is concerned and you can fully focus on what ErbisOne is good at: the optimal monitoring of your energy flows!
